Yo.- Al noveno (Omití la sonrisa que suelo poner de vecina perfecta en el ascensor porque no estaba de humor)
Ella pulsó el botón de su destino y me volvió a mirar extrañada.
Vecina.- ¿Vives en el noveno a?
Yo.- Si (Empezando a incomodarme)
Vecina.- ¿Desde cuando?
Yo.- Desde hace nueve años (omití el parantesis de dos años de princesa recluida en la torre del castillo en un esperpéntico cuento de hadas)
Vecina.- (Con gesto perplejo) Jamás te he visto.
Mientras ascendía los tres pisos que nos separan sola, recordaba que he podido compartir ascensor con ella una veintena de veces como mínimo. Primero me asaltó un sentimiento de insignificancia vital, pero ese pasar desapercibida no me ha llegado a molestar. No obstante me he decantado por pensar que era pura perceptividad y afinar de sentidos. Ha tenido que sufrir el abandono de su marido para que ella se fije en mi existencia... he salido del ascensor sonriendo.
No me lo plantearía como una insignificancia vital, ni tan siquiera como un pasar desapercibida, simplemente pensaría que no sabría de que hablar en ese momento y se le ocurrió la divertida excusa de la nueva vecina. Ya sabes, aquello de romper el hielo mientras subís en el ascensor.
Mucho mejor eso a esas miradas, tipo obrero, que tanto despreciamos.
Ahí amiguita, como esta el mundo???
