Por las noches, sus alaridos se hacen insoportables. Su dolor, lo más auténtico que ha habido en esa cama en los últimos quince años, lo padecemos tanto como él. Desvaría. Cada tres horas, cuando se le pasa el efecto de los calmantes y, antes de que al enfermero que le vela le de tiempo a ponerle unos nuevos, alcanza unos segundos de lucidez y, por costumbre, blasfema. Yo miro a mi compañero conteniendo, con mucho esfuerzo, la risa. Es difícil: hemos llegado a la conclusión de que esta semana estamos aprendiendo a decir "¡Hostia puta!" y "¡Me cago en Dios!" en polaco.

Hombre, será algo más complejo. Puede absolverse a sí mismo y, además, darse la extremaunción. De hecho, no dudo que usará los óleos para uncirse todo lo que le venga en gana, no veas como tienen que lubrificar... :P
