¿Septiembre?
Vuelta a Madrid y vuelta a la rutina. En teoría no tenía que haber aparecido por el despacho hasta el Lunes, pero sólo de pensar en que me tenía que poner a trabajar a todo trapo desde el mismísimo primer día, se me hacía insoportable. Eso de tener que empezar a llamar a la gente el día uno de Septiembre sin haber terminado de desconectar de las vacaciones no terminaba de parecerme algo sano.
Cada vez que en la tele oía algo sobre una supuesta depresión post-estival, esbozaba una sonrisita y pensaba en la cantidad de excusas que tiene la gente para no dar el callo. Pensaba en una versión más holgazana del “He ido a tomar café, vuelvo en cinco minutos” que se alarga durante toda la primera semana, y tenía imágenes mentales de toda una plantilla en una oficina comentando lo rápido que se va el moreno, lo mucho que ha crecido la Jenny en este último año e intercambiando fotos de las respectivas escapadas vacacionales, mientras Martínez, que se ha tenido que quedar de guardia todo Agosto, pone cara de ahí-os-quedáis-pringados, mientras se va a disfrutar de las tranquilas playas de Septiembre.
A mi no me iba a pasar eso. El Jueves, ya estaba por la mañana en el despacho; no para trabajar, ni porque fuese uno de esos adictos al trabajo, que prefieren estar encerrados en su oficina dieciséis horas al día. Estaba preparando una terapia de reintroducción al despacho no traumática. Es decir; llegar al despacho y sentarme en mi silla, encender el ordenador del despacho y comenzar a bajar el correo atrasado de un mes, ver el montón de expedientes abiertos que tenía encima de la mesa y la pila de correo que amenaza con sepultar la bandeja de entrada del correo. Y con calma, con mucha calma, dedicarme el jueves y el viernes a planificar las primeras dos semanas de trabajo. Veinte minutos después estaba navegando por Internet, actualizando suscripciones a listas de correo y en general, dándole a todos mis contactos del messenger la triste noticia de que ya estaba en Madrid. ¡Y maldita sea el frío que hace en Madrid! Joder, el Jueves hasta llovió en un amago de gota fría.
Jueves y Viernes de asueto en el despacho. Sábado y Domingo como cualquier otro. Y a partir del lunes a trabajar como un loco, esperando ver como toda la gente que no está preparada para reincorporarse al trabajo, pone caras largas en el autobús de las 9:25 de camino al trabajo.

Y luego tendremos que volver a la rutina de ir a clase... o de buscar alguna fantástica escusa para no hacerlo, librarnos de una bronca en casa y no sentirnos mal con nosotros mismos, lo cual es muy cansado también.
