Mas liao que el chapista de mazinger Z

Buenas a todos.
Hay gente que me dice que ya no escribo nada en el blog y que os tengo abandonaos.., es cierto, pero es que estoy muy liado :)

El lunes empece a currar, eso me quita 8 horas cada dia, luego cuando llego a casa ultimamente me dedico a tunear el apache de zonalibre.. iba muy lento y no entendia porque ya que es un server profesional y deberia aguantar mucho mas de lo que aguanta..

Aun no lo he resuelto del todo, mi apache-fu aun no es lo suficientemente bueno, pero estoy en ello :) Un cambio que hice que a mi parecer ha hecho que tire mejor es bajar el MaxClients de 150 a 50.

Resulta que el server tiene 520 MB RAM y cada proceso httpd ocupa unos 10 MB de RAM (10 MB!! que leches hara con 10 MB por proceso...) asi que con un MaxClients de 150 creo que preparaba 150 threads de 10 MB osea 1500 MB... eso era una pasada. Al bajarlo a 50 pues ocupa unos 500 MB con lo que ya lo podemos manejar con 520 RAM.

Esta explicacion probablemente este equivocada, ya que solo es una pelicula que me he montado en mi cabeza.. en realidad no se como funciona por dentro apache y si verdaderamente los maxclients son eso.. pero a mi me vale.
Agradeceria si alguno controlais de apache que me deis pistillas sobre lo que esta pasando de verdad :D
