A few months into his trip, while walking the Earth in said manner, a travel buddy gave Matt the idea of dancing everywhere he went and recording it for posterity. This turned out to be a very good idea. Now Matt is quasi-famous as “That guy who did that dancing video…No, not the Star Wars kid, the other guy…No, not that guy either. I’ll send you the link. It’s funny.”

Matt is not independently wealthy. He is independently poor. Matt also doesn’t have some magical secret for traveling cheaply. He does it pretty much the same way everybody else does – and there are a lot of everybody elses doing it – they simply neglected to make a downloadable video about it.

Matt currently lives in Seattle, Washington. Matt works sporadically as a writer and travels spasmodically as an idiot.

Sorry ladies, Matt is off the market.

Matt only speaks one language. Fortunately, that language is English, which will eventually be the only language left on the planet. When Matt encounters people who don’t speak his language, he yells at them and makes hand signals. It usually works.

Matt never went to college, but he’s not insecure about it. In fact, Matt is actually pretty snotty and condescending once you get to know him.

When Matt was younger, he could hang seven spoons on his face at once. Sadly, puberty made Matt’s face less conducive to spoon-hanging.
