Hoy comprendo por qué los obituarios son siempre tan iguales, fríos y hasta tópicos. Nunca debió ser fácil escribir sobre quien ha muerto, y más cuando se tratase de alguien con quien has compartido tanto como un amigo. Si ha pasado poco tiempo es duro pensar siquiera en él, aún vives viviendo de sus recuerdos, queriendo no olvidar todo lo que fue de bueno el tiempo con él, porque es inevitable hacer de menos lo malo.

Hoy Sergio no está. Hoy nos falta un hijo, un hermano, un artista, un alumno, alguien, a mí un amigo. Es él. Tan desconocido ahora para mí como pudo serlo para los demás ayer. Dejaba entrever, eso sí, lo que era, en sus cómics, en sus poesías, en sus juegos, era creatividad, trabajo y sensibilidad. Era un disparate empecinado hasta conseguirlo todo. Luego, a veces, nos regalaba pedacitos, pero las más se los guardó él. Por eso hoy no me atrevo a despedirle con los sentimientos desnudos de su poema, sino con un telegrama escueto de pensamientos.

Más: ha vuelto su espíritu creador del revés; ha dejado a nuestras ansias egoístas de él, desangeladas, malinterpretándonos al nombrarle, y queriendo a sus ideas como él no se dejó.
