Teatro

Todos los miembros del reparto se presentaron el día del estreno reflejando en sus caras la mezcla de incertidumbre y orgullo que, como era natural, les suscitaba el hecho de que les hubieran llamado para representar aquella obra y no les hubiesen dado ningún guión, ningún papel, ninguna directriz siquiera. El director, conforme les iba recibiendo, sólo les indicaba que pasaran por una puerta trasera y que actuasen con naturalidad. Improvisaron. Actuaron. Representaron la obra.

Cuando las luces se encendieron, se saludaron y aplaudieron los unos a los otros, porque descubrieron que no había ningún público. Se marcharon de allí sin tener la más mínima idea de qué era lo que habían estado haciendo.

El autor de la obra, mientras tanto, estaba encantado. Todo lo que él había escrito apenas un par de días antes, había sucedido allí.
