Veo un poco de confusión en cuanto a lo que es mimo y a lo que es una estatua callejera.
Mimo: actor de una pantomima. No se necesita ir pintado ni dedicarse al teatro ni mucho menos. Ver definición de pantomima.
Ahora bien, yo soy mimo y me dedico a contar historias imprimiendo fuerza, ritmo, energía al aire que me rodea. Eso es todo. Ahora en qué piensan los mal llamados mimos-estatuas, pues no se, pero debe ser muy aburrido no hacer nada en todo el día, en toda la semana y en fin, durante el mes y tu vida.
