LA FLOR
Ayer me contaron esto algo diferente a las historias típicas de navidad.
Ya desde la semilla se vio que era una planta tímida, y a pesar de caer en un suelo fértil y apropiado tardo en despuntar sus pequeñas hojas verdes, mas por vergüenza que por debilidad, aunque creció pequeña y delgada casi deshojada, sus raíces crecieron bajo la tierra mas y mejor que las de cualquiera de sus hermanas, por eso cuando aquel pájaro negro se comió los brotes nuevos de toda la pradera ella fue una de las que sobrevivió, y cuando el ciclón se llevo a muchas de sus hermanas ella resistió gracias a sus potentes raíces.
Llegada por fin la primavera mientras las demás estallaban con grandes y brillantes flores, colores, y perfumes, ella tímida y sencilla, mas tarde que todas, solo tubo un brote del que salio un pequeño capullo que al abrirse dejo salir una pequeña flor blanca y humilde pero tan bella y con tal fragancia que ninguna en la pradera podía comparársele, y de esta flor nació una semilla y de esta otra planta y otra flor que dio una nueva semilla, y así durante años. Como todas nacían como la primera con fuertes y profundas raíces, acabaron por llenar la pradera que a finales de las primaveras se llenaba de pequeñas y humildes flores blancas que llenaban el aire con una fragancia tal que a todo el que pasaba le parecía estar entrando por las puertas del cielo………….
