Radiohead vuelve al estudio de grabación
Depués del, para muchos, decepcionante Hield to the thief y de una gira que les trajo a tocar a Madrid, parece que Radiohead vuelve al estudio.
O por lo menos eso ha declarado Jonny Greenwood al Billboard. Entre otras cosas ha afirmado que después del parón navideño, la banda está en Oxford y muy pendiente del estudio de grabación.
Por otro lado desde la página más completa de información sobre noticias de Radiohead, informan que los contenidos multimedia que el grupo publica a través de Radiohead.tv, estarán pronto disponibles en DVD.
De confirmarse todos los rumores, este nuevo álbum del que aún no se sabe nada, sería el séptimo de la carrera de la banda de Oxford que próximamente compartirá cartel con Pixies en el primer día del Coachella Festival.

Radiohead para mí es una excelente banda de rock, quizás la mejor en los últimos tiempos.
Sin embargo, después de llegar a la cumbre de su sonido con OK Computer quiso diferenciarse del resto y demostrar que tb sabían experimentar.
Resultado, dos discos interesantes, Kid A y Amnesiac, innovadores en el sonido, pero comparados con los anteriores de puro rock, mediocres.
Cuando Radiohead intenta hacer electrónica se queda a medio camino, no consigue un sonido redondo y tampoco hace lo que mejor sabe hacer, buenas canciones de rock. A mí además me suena mucho a Aphex Twin.
A Hail to the Thief le pasa un poco lo mismo, aunque poco a poco parece que abandonan el camino experimental y vuelven a sus raíces, aún hay cortes en el disco como The Gloaming o Backdrifts en los que reiteran sonidos que no son los suyos, por lo menos en mi opinión.
Hay otras canciones muy buenas, 2+2=5 o A Wolf At The Door, son excelentes, pero no pegan con otras electrónicas bastante más flojas.
En fin, Radiohead parece que no sabe qué tocar después del OK Computer. Poco a poco parece que vuelven a sus sonidos originales, aunque yo esperaba algo más de HttT.
Les pasa un poco como a U2 después del Pop.
